ART DIRECTION
My most recent professional role was Design Manager/Art Director for the global direct sales company, Stampin’ Up! The projects below were executed by members of my team, while I undertook project management, approved concepts, provided feedback/ideas/critique and ensured consistent application of brand across designers. For projects with photography, the designers concepted the shots and acted as stylists on set. Test shots were sent to myself and the Photography Manager for approval or changes.
Our goal was to limit the number of photos while adequately preparing for dozens of deliverable shapes, sizes and character counts in desktop, tablet and mobile applications. All deliverables were manually versioned for 8 markets in English, French, German and Dutch, averaging anywhere from 40-3,500 deliverables per project. We averaged 15-30 simultaneous projects at any given time throughout the year.
